You got me. Since I once got an actual threat at my home for an opinion piece I wrote in the local paper, I was on pins and needles reading your article. My threat came in the form of a letter that looked like a child wrote it but the words contained inside dispelled the thought of a child author right away. For weeks I feared everytime I stepped out of my house on my way to my car. The opinion piece I wrote was in favor of Claire McCaskill over Todd Akin. Never in my wildest imagination would I have expected to have my life threatened over my opinion. It was well after the election before I felt safe again. Not enough to write another editorial piece again but at least I could cut my grass without watching every car or person walking.
I'm old and certainly jaded by what I've seen and experienced in life. There is very little that makes me laugh, especially lol. Your article is precious and priceless. I was reading it out loud to my husband and could barely speak for laughing. Thank you. I'm currently up to my butt cheeks in alligators and your writing made me laugh ! You ROCK !

Hilarious! Enjoyed this one a lot. What makes it so funny and gripping is that it could all be true. And that’s actually scary, not funny… but still loved the humor and the build up and the whole account. Well done!
